  • Chris focused on building core HR compliance essentials and then expanding further into leadership training and engagement

Outcomes

  • The business grew to 150 employees

  • Engagement score averaged 7.5/10

  • Managed COVID processes including temporary reductions

Learnings

  • It’s difficult to articulate the value an experienced HR leader can bring to a business if the leaders have had no prior experience

  • If you communicate openly and authentically during a tough time your team will respond well (COVID)

  • Team performance did not drop working from home (in some cases improved)
